Although I didn't train as well as I should have I still had a great time during the race. My brother's roommate ran the entire race with me and we had a blast together! My older sis & brother were running the marathon relay too! Then we of course had the best cheerleaders that day, my baby sis & hubby :)
The day was overcast & windy, but the temperature was perfect! Great running weather!
Our fans caught us at around mile 7 right after a water station :) See, I'm smiling & still having fun :)
We crossed the finish line at 2:29, not too shabby for our longest training run being 4 miles :)
The running ground of the day :)

Home sweet Home! :) I just had to pose with my medal & gorgeous flowers from my amazing husband! It meant so much for me to have him there cheering me on! Nothing beats that feeling!

I'm not sure what my future running plans are... I'd like to think that maybe the half marathon days are over, but I always get the urge anytime I attend a race :) I'm going to just keep focusing on being healthy & staying active... and if a race comes up I can't resist then I guess I will go for it :)

Any interest in running the Rock n Roll St. Louis Half? Nick signed up and now I want to, also. Not sure how much training I'll get done with the little one, so I'm nervous. If you had any interest, I would love a running partner!
