Dan's Confirmation

Sunday was a very special day for us.  We celebrated Dan's Confirmation and officially joining our church as a member.  He started taking classes in November and as of Sunday we got to take communion together.  I am so proud of him, and this commitment his has made to his faith means more to me than He will ever know, even though I try explaining it to him hehe.  Also the fact that Pastor Skeesick was the one to confirm him was extra special because he confirmed me, and also baptized Gia.  My family came to support and celebrate Dan, and we all went to lunch after church.  This is a day I have been praying about for a long time, and I am so thankful to take this step in faith as a family.  

 Sunday afternoon we ran into Edwardsville and also made a stop at the gun club so Dan could shoot a round of trap.  Gia and I love watching him!

 After we had dinner we got into our pajamas and drove around looking at Christmas lights while sipping on hot chocolate.  Gia is at the age where she is in love with Christmas lights, and I cannot handle how exciting everything Christmas is for her!

 We got home and snuggled up on the couch to watch Elf.  What a day, a favorite for sure.

SO thankful to God for all He has richly blessed us with, and also helping us to understand that having our priorities in order is so important.
