Saturday morning Dan, Clarkie, & I woke up around 4am to make a trip to see our Grandparents… Plans had been switched around a few times regarding Thanksgiving, but we wanted to make sure we still got to see them, even if for a quick trip…
We arrived at their house around 12:30pm and were immediately spoiled with our favorite foods & desserts! We got to stay at Dad’s beautiful home there, and spent the rest of the evening relaxing {and more football watching}…
Sunday morning we got to sleep in and take our time getting ready before heading back over to Grandma & Grandpa’s for more delicious food and trying to soak up as much time with them before we had to get back on the road to head home… We left around 3pm and got home around 11pm… Special thanks to Mom for puppy sitting Bennett & Macy so we could get away for the trip… It was so great to see them, and it had truly been too long… hopefully we can plan another trip to see them soon!
