Once again welcome to my long, babbling catch up blog post…
On June 11th I headed back to work… As much as I hated to leave my baby girl, I have so much to be thankful for and was excited to see what our life was really going to be like with me getting back to a regular schedule.
My grandparents are watching her for us while I’m at work {cannot even describe how blessed we are!} With my work schedule being so great, I’m not even away from Gia that much which is another blessing, and I love my job so all that put together makes for an easy transition back to work!
BUT I must say the days & weeks are going by even faster now! I look so forward to my days off with my sweet girl, and make the most of any second I have with her. Let’s just say between her daddy & I she doesn’t get put down very much after we both get home from work! :)
The weekends have been kind of rainy! Strange, extreme weather or just random bursts of rain showers.. I must say that puts a little bit of a damper on our boating plans, but we sneak out on the water every chance we get!
Dan went fishing this past weekend, so Gia and I enjoyed a fantastic girls weekend! My Mom stayed with us, and Lyndsey joined in on the fun too! We had a blast!
Now to the best week of the summer… the week of the 4th of July! Which also happens to be my birthday! Wahoo!
Only 2 days of work for me this week, and then a long weekend off to spend time with family & friends enjoying my favorite week of the year! We just plan on relaxing, boating, and rockin’ our red, white, & blue! We even had a family 4th of July photo session last week to celebrate Gia’s first 4th of July!
Can’t wait to enjoy such a fun week!
