Celebrating Christmas 2016

With losing my grandpa a month before Christmas we knew the holidays would feel different, but I think we all tried extra hard to make them special.  It's what keeps you going through hard times.  And oh my goodness I don't know what we would all do without Gia, she was and continues to be the light of our lives.  She shines a light over the gloom, and I know God works through children and He has definitely shown Himself through her.

We started our Christmas celebrations with breakfast with Santa at the clubhouse.
Gia was so into everything Christmas this year.  It was so magical to see things through her eyes.  She was all about Jesus' birthday and also Santa/her elf on the shelf, Jovie.  She asked for a lip gloss truck and it was such a blast to celebrate with her all month long.

We spent Christmas weekend at several places with our families.  Our biggest change this year was having my family over Christmas eve before Gia was in the program at our church that evening.  We made the rounds and got to spend a lot of time with both of our families.  It truly is the most wonderful time of the year!
