School Days

August brought a lot of changes for us, but the most exciting was the start of school for Gia.  If I'm being honest, the closer we got to her starting school the more anxious I became.  I just hoped we had prepared her enough and that she would adjust well to the transition to a new routine.  I was so beyond excited for her to make new friends and learn so many new things, and before we new it the school year was here.

She has done so well and we couldn't be more proud of her.  She is learning so much and she blows us away with how smart she is.  She loves her teacher and has made so many great friends.  We love her school so much and are so thankful for a small, christian setting close to our home.  Like anything else I've learned on this parenting journey, what seems like a big deal at the time will all work itself out and down the road it won't seem such a big deal.  All that worrying for nothing, but that's just how it goes hehe.
