Baby It's Cold Outside...

Oh I love this time of year when the weather is so unpredictable... :) I'm half kidding... We had a bit of an ice/winter mix storm visit us over night... I'm very thankful that today is my regular day off of work, so I don't have to worry about leaving the house...

I think Bennett is enjoying me being off and actually staying at home for the day (usually I'm out running crazy amounts of errands)... he's been following me around all day, but decided he needed to lay down while I'm up in the office working on some computer stuff...

Today has been very productive so far! I submitted my last assignment for my class! YAHTZEEEE :) Looking forward to a break until January 10th... I've also started wrapping presents & cleaned my whole house! Always such a good feeling... I'm working on finishing up laundry and hopefully I'll be able to sneak in a Christmas movie still this afternoon :) Thank you ice storm for making me get a lot done!

This is the how the plate turned out that I made during a pottery adventure with Jen & the kids :) I just love it! I feel a tradition being born... Even though I know I'm not the best at it, I love crafty/creative projects :)

Random Fact about ME: I drink more water when out of a cup with a lid & straw... don't ask why... because I have no idea... this is one of my favorite cups because the ice doesn't melt. I've probably refilled this thing 3-4x already today! Hello Hydration!

Oh yeah, and my amazing hubby brought flowers to me at work yesterday! I just love that man!
