Snow Day!

I love Snow Days! :) Extremely lucky/happy that this weather happens to fall on my days off... so I did not have the stress of wondering if/how I would make it to work today...


Bennett LOVES the snow... pour guy had to run around like crazy to clear paths because the snow covered his entire legs!

These boots were a bad idea... I absolutely thought I would have no problem in the snow... but I soon discovered the snow was deeper than they are tall.... I measured 11 inches at our house! I can't remember the last time we have gotten this much snow in one day! :)

Snow Day Fun included: finishing homework, catching up on DVR, laundry...

Clarkie called & came and picked me up so we worked on accounting a little... Dan got off work early & surprised me with the news he has tomorrow off as well! yay!

The boys are watching a movie & I'm catching up on here... (I think this is my 4th post today)

So here's what I've been up to...

I went over to Manda's last Friday to FINALLY exchange Christmas gifts with her and her beautiful children :) We had such a fun play day!

Last weekend we celebrated Dan's Grandpa's 80th Birthday and then celebrated FOOTBALL all day Sunday...

I made amazing chili (in my awesome crock pot) & corn bread muffins...

We have also started painting the entire inside of our home... I have been taking a lot of "before & after" pics... and cannot wait until this project is complete...

Tonight we are going to take advantage of being "snowed in" and enjoy our day off together tomorrow! :)
