Fight Like A Girl

It makes me so sad to know that almost every one you meet has known someone who has had to face cancer...

The announcement of the dreaded "C" word being claimed by a loved one creates indescribable emotions...

My amazing cousin, J, will soon begin treatment for breast cancer. I have looked up to her ever since she was my teacher at vacation bible school... and I thought my dreams had come true when she married my cousin fifteen years ago. I admire her zest for life and look up to her in more ways that I can even put into words. I am so blessed to have such a great, close relationship with her, as well as be the God-mother to one of her beautiful children.

I found myself searching for anyway possible to help... and here's a start...

No I can't take away her cancer, or even begin to understand/explain how this is fair... but I will stand by her side 100% and every step of the way... and will be so proud to cross that finish line with her after walking for 3 days for an incredible cause.
I'm not sure how many people read this blog, but if you wouldn't mind keeping J in your prayers that would be fantastic :)
