Snowmageddon!!!!

Well I can say with much confidence that I survived the storm of the century... :)

I don't know if I am disappointed or relieved that the weather forecast was a bit off, but oh well, it is what it is... The media plays such a huge role in getting everyone amped up about upcoming weather... some areas did get a ton of snow, but the concluding weather report from my neighborhood is: about 1 inch of sleet/ice followed by 6-7 inches of snow... Dan and I were both lucky to have yesterday & today off of work so we did not have to worry about risking driving {as we have not had very good luck driving in the snow this season}

We made the most of our day(s) off & luckily had plenty of projects to do in the house...

Our painting is going awesome! I spent a couple hours yesterday staining our fireplace mantel, shelves, and stairs... BUT I suggested we relax and snuggle in by the fire, to truly enjoy our snow day! (snow days for adults=awesome!)

I made muffins {Yummm!}

and we proceeded to watch netflix movies until the wee hours of the morning... ahhh :) What a fantastic Tuesday :)

Today we are home again (no complaints here)... which turns into almost an entire week off of work for me... with my normal days off & it happening to be my weekend off, I won't be back to work until Monday :)

Right now we are laying in bed, both working on our laptops...

Bennett cannot decide whose lap is more comfy... rough life, huh??? :)
