Random Thoughts...

Well we have had a great Sunday :) We got a lot accomplished and made some exciting plans to start some home projects! I see painting in our near future...

We went to dinner to celebrate Dan's Grandpa's 79th birthday... it's always great to spend time with family, and we definitely do not get to see them enough!

So now we are relaxing in bed... Dan's watching football (go figure hehe) & I'm going through to-do lists in my head and needed a refreshing distraction = my blog!

I have no specific topic in mind to write about, so I'm just going to mention some random thoughts and things I'm loving/planning right now...

First of all, I LOOOOVE that so many of my friends are starting blogs! I have already enjoyed blogging so much in the short time I've been doing it, and I really encourage everyone to give it a shot. It's been so therapeutic for me to share a different side of myself through writing. I love reading blogs of all types, but I really like reading the blogs of my friends. I really think it introduces a deeper side of them, and I love learning new things about those close to me :)

This week I am re-introducing my food journal (on a temporary basis) and also starting a workout log. Dan and I are trying a new schedule this week to try and manage our evening time better... we will see how it works out :) I am dedicated to working out/running in the mornings this week... wish me luck! I'm thinking about tracking my workouts through dailymile... I've noticed some of my friends on facebook use this application, and I also think it would be another way of holding me accountable...

I am currently LOVING the skin care products I'm using. I started using this line about two months ago (per the suggestion of a friend) because 1. I needed a skin care regimen and 2. I was experiencing more breakouts now then when I was in high school. I almost ordered Proactiv, but ended up going with the Clinique Acne Solutions line... I do not have a big problem with acne at all, but this has done wonders for my skin! What an incredible discovery!

Finally... I saw this quote as a friends facebook status this morning and it really has stuck with me all day... I'm a sucker for quotes anyway, but I think anyone and everyone can be inspired by this quote...
"There are four things you cannot recover... the stone after it's been thrown...the word after it's been said... the occasion after it's missed... and the time after it's gone"

Here's to the start of another great week and being thankful for each and every moment :)
