Boating Fever

Last week (on St. Patrick's Day) the weather was so beautiful and we finally got to set sail on our beauty of a boat...

We had such a blast! Definitely got us wishin' and prayin' for summer to get here fast :)

My mom came & met us and we went to have a fantastic dinner at our favorite lake-side restaurant...

Now that just makes it even crazier that last week I was sitting outside eating dinner in shorts and a t-shirt on a perfectly warm spring evening...

And the weather yesterday & today have turned on us once again...

The snow is falling.... actually DUMPING on us as I am typing this... in the short time since I've been home from work today I think there is probably a couple inches on our deck already... ick!

What can you do? The weather is what it is, but I am just so ready for some consistent, warm weather... soon enough I'm sure...

I just am saying prayers for D and the guys who are trout fishing this weekend. Even though the camper has heat, these conditions are not quite ideal. I'm sure they are still having a blast! :)

I'm currently watching some college basketball, catching up on blogging (obvi), and snuggling with Bennett... going to hang out with my mama later :)
