Spring?? Is that you???

Happy St. Patrick's Day!! Although I am not Irish at all, I did wear my green today... so no pinching allowed here! :)

St. Patrick's Day might turn into a favorite of mine if it brings with it weather like we are having today... Sunny skies, a nice breeze, and temperatures in the 70's!!! Helloooo Spring! I've been waiting for you... :)

I ran all of my errands by noon today and was anxious to get home and take my favorite pup for a nice long walk...


We walked all around our community and I couldn't help but be in a great, relaxed mood...

and living by the lake helps with that too I'm sure :)

I've been a busy girl cleaning the house and working on other fun things like laundry {boo!}... I actually don't mind it too bad, but I'm getting everything done and put away so we can enjoy our evening... guess what our plans are??

Well I've told many stories about how my husband never fails to surprise me... and he let me know this morning that tonight we he gets home from work our brand new beauty of a boat will be making her maiden voyage on our lake!! YAAAYYY!!!! Can't wait to get that boat in the water... even if it means I have to wear a sweat shirt! :)


In other news... It's March Madness time!!

This year D and I both are participating in a bracket challenge my brother created... with the number of people in that pool the winner will get $160 and second place will get $40! I hope I win! :)

D has been officially inducted into my family by being invited to participate in their "jersey bracket challenge"... my older sister, brother, dad, and now D compete and then the winner gets a brand new jersey of their choice... so we will have fun watching the games and keeping track of 3 different brackets...
