Sips & Splatters

Last night my mom had a private art party called: Sips & Splatters. The event is hosted by a local artist (a great friend of my mom's) in his home studio and he is simply amazing! For each class he creates a drawing on a canvas and then the class creates their masterpiece. Last night's class was extra special because he designed a painting just for my mom which reflects her love of... WINE...

The class lasted about 3 hours... Everyone brings their own drink (sips)... an appetizer to share... and then let the painting (splatters) begin...

I cannot even describe how fun this was! I am so proud of my painting and cannot wait to hang it in my freshly painted kitchen :) I cannot wait to attend another class, or maybe even have a private party of my own :)
