Nothing beats Date Night

Saturday evening D and I had a much needed date night... it is so easy to get caught up in our busy lives that we sometimes forget to just take some time to spend with each other...

He picked the place... and after I got home from work & changed we headed out to enjoy our evening together...

His choice was perfect... and so "us" :)

The Boathouse was so cute and fun!  It was casual, but offered amazing food and an incredible atmosphere by the water.  I have no idea why we had never been there before... but we most certainly will be back...

We then did a little, "his, hers, & ours shopping"... bass pro for him :)  sephora for me :) & trader joe's for us :) 

We were lucky to head home when we did because we had a pretty fierce storm that night... the lightning was like fireworks and the thunder was so extremely loud... all in all it was an awesome night to reconnect with my amazing husband!
