Soaking Up Every Last Ounce of Summertime

Yesterday was a great Sunday!  I didn't start my day with my early trip to the gym because I was up a littler later than expected Saturday night {picking up that cutey hubby of mine}...

Nonetheless I woke up and was ready to head to church... my 2nd trip to that adorable church and I loved it just as much as last week... I have been praying for a long time to find a church where I feel like I belong and I think God has shown me my answer... I am so thankful for L & T... not only to have friends to go to church with, but also for inviting me to try this church with them in the first place!  God is GOOD! 

The rest of the day took us out on the water for a perfect day of boating...

L & I read some magazines and chatted away as usual :) as the boys enjoyed drinks & cigars... we were making some plans for our up-coming weekend get-a-way and it got me even more excited for our trip!  Along with that we realized that our boating days might be coming to an end... hopefully we can get the boat out at least one or two more times before the summer is over... I truly cannot believe how summer has flown by...

We finished our evening by dinner by the lake at one of our absolute favorite places... there were 8 of us total and I was reminded once again how truly blessed we are to live where we do & be surrounded by amazing family & friends :) 

Today I got an early start to my day... I met L at the gym at 5:45ish to join her for a workout... it was so nice to get it out of the way for the day!  I got home and took Bennett for a walk and couldn't believe how much I felt like I had accomplished all before 7am!  :) 

I'm going to go run some errands and do the grocery store thang... then time to clean this casa before my hubby gets home from work!  Happy Monday! :)

Here is a picture of my new hair color...

I've been wanting to transition more to my natural color {light brown/dark blonde} and instead of taking the plunge to full blown all over color we have been adding in low lights that match my natural color... I love being a bright blonde but I am lucky that my hair grows super fast and I didn't like how I felt like I always needed to get it done {that grown out look just isn't for me}... I feel like this is a lot darker, even though some may not even notice... but I think I LOVE it :) I like how it's more toned down and will hopefully be a little less maintenance...
