TGI... Thursday

My heart breaks for one of my amazing co-workers who unexpectedly lost her father yesterday... times like this are hard to wrap your mind around, but without a doubt shows how precious life is... My thoughts & prayers are with her and her family as they grieve a incredible loss...

In my devotional the past few days and also just in random thoughts these verses come to mind which offer so much hope, comfort, & peace:

Psalm 18:1-3,28,35I will love You, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.

For You will light my lamp; The LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great.

Today started off bright & early for me with a morning workout with L :)  I came home & took  Bennett on a nice long walk {I hate to say it was a bit chilly out this morning hehe}... then it was time to head to work for a class...

I enjoyed this for a post-workout snack:

I love these bars!  My other favorite flavors are chocolate covered coconut & s'mores :) 


Now I'm happy to be home from work & we are trying to decide what to do this evening... D is suggesting the gym or Lowe's... and I'm up for whatever... as long as dinner is involved :)
