Working for the Weekend

Friday's have been one of my favorite thing about this summer... Not only is it the beginning of the weekend... and my day off... but it's my fun day with L!

This week was bittersweet because it is our last whole day of fun for a while because our schedules are about to get super busy!  So we definitely made the most of it...

Of course we started off our day by getting some yummy breakfast at Lo Cal Cafe... and couldn't leave without a sample of their Only 8 flavor of the day... blueberry!  delish!

We got our Starbucks to hold us over while we ran errands... {the coconut flavor is discontinued for the season... I guess it's fall according to the coffee business}

Next we had a great work out at the gym... then headed to my house to grab some food and make vision boards...

Vision boards have been something I've been doing for a few years... and I love keeping old ones to look back on... it's just so great to set goals and be reminded on a daily basis that I can do anything I set my mind to...

A lot of my interests now deal with health/fitness, but also maintaining a positive outlook & attitude... it was so fun to be able to do this with such a great friend... and I loved seeing them once we were done...

I put mine in our office right in front of my computer desk so I can look at it on a very regular basis...

After L and I finished up our fun day, D & I met our newlywed friends for a fun dinner... it was so nice to see them and catch up with them after things have settled down from their wedding...

I am so relieved to have caught up on my blog!  Phew!  I'm going to spend the rest of the night working on some of my to-do list until I get to pick up my handsome hubby from a bachelor party... I'm already curious what late night food he will request... I'm guessing either white castle or steak 'n shake :)

Tomorrow's plan: gym {already planning my reward of an iced coffee, yum!}, church, and boating... crossing my fingers for warm weather & sunny skies!
