Here are directions to my crafty lady project #2...
I made a fall decorative plate based on inspiration from a craft store I was walking through a couple weeks ago :)
Supplies Used: Glue gun/Glue Sticks $6
Frame/Plate Stand $6
Charger Plate $2
Scrap book paper $.50
Wooden Letter "C" $2
Gold Spray Paint (mini can) $3
Glittery Jewels (I used 30 total) $3
Time: About 15 minutes :)
I started off by spray painting the letter "C" and while I was waiting for that to dry, I started applying the jewels to the outside of the plate... I cut the scrap book paper to fit into the inside circle of the plate and glued everything down.
After the "C" was dry I glued it to the center of the plate and only had to wait a few minutes for that to dry...
I placed it on the stand and here ya go! {The flash on my camera makes it look really bright in the picture below}
I put the plate in our kitchen, and I love seeing it there! It adds a little touch of fall to that room in our home :)
What's going on today??? Of course errands and getting some projects accomplished. This week seemed to be long and exhausting for whatever reason. I have laundry going and have already cleaned up the house {thank goodness!}
Last night we attended the rehearsal dinner of one of Dan's good friends, his college roommate! I got to know him really well when Dan and I first started dating... {Dan is a groomsmen in the wedding Saturday, and I cannot wait to see my hubby in a tux! yum! :)} I love watching the wedding planning come together, and seeing the excitement of the bride & groom as their wedding day is fast approaching as well as the families coming together is such a blessing!
Low key night around here tonight, and then the big day tomorrow!
