Fall Weekend Fun

This past weekend was so much fun... kicking off Fall the right way by attending the bonfire on Friday night...

Saturday evening we celebrated my Mom's birthday :)  She spent the day at the winery with my brother, his friend Jonathan, and our Aunt Maria... Let's just say they had a REALLY great time! :)

We met for dinner at a new pizza place, PW Pizza... The atmosphere was casual and so neat.  The menu selection was very unique and extrememly delicious... probably some of the best pizza I have ever had!

 Mom's birthday gift:  A kindle!
 Birthday Apple Cake {Yum!}
 Our group!

After dinner we headed upstairs to a rooftop area where we sat around a fire pit laughing & story telling while enjoying a beautiful view of the city...

The evening was so much fun!  I think it made for an excellent birthday celebration for my mom!

Sunday Funday:

Sunday began like usual... church :)  My name was in the bulletin recognizing me for officially becoming a member!

After church I dropped off Dan at my brother's so he could watch football with the guys and I headed to meet a friend to do a little shopping... We ended up at The Container Store {amazing!  This added to my recent organzing addiction and I came away with some great new items!}, Target, and Trader Joe's...

My favorite purchase of the day:

Honey Crisp Apples!!!  Yay!  To me this officially shows Fall has arrived... And even better a whole bag was only $5... what a deal!

The rest of my Sunday was spent lounging around the house with Dan & Bennett... We did fairly decent in our Football Picks this week, which is a nice change from the previous two weeks :)  Maybe we will actually have a chance at winning the $$$ at least once this season :)

Another week begins...

Today I slept in a little and then headed out to run my errands for the day...

The usual:
  • bank
  • Old Navy {had to return a few shirts}
  • Starbucks {officially a fan of Pumpkin Spice Latte's.... only warm... I tried iced last week & wasn't impressed, but I'm glad I gave it another try... pumpkin pie in a cup!}
  • Grocery Store
  • Bronzing
  • Mani & Pedi
I absolutely love the shellac manicures... I got my third one today and cannot describe how impressed I have been with how it holds up...

I tried a new color today... a charcoal gray color, but in the sun it looks like a deep lilac... love it!
Now I'm going to go catch up on some of my shows {Glee!} before I go meet Dan at the gym when he gets off work :)
