Well today we bid farewell to the Dango... aka my old durango that thankfully finally sold...
After the eventful road trip to Chicago last December that you can read about here ... Dan has been hard at work fixing up the car to sell...
I was at work when Dan called to tell me that the prospective buyer offered us an amount that Dan was comfortable with and drove off with the car... I'm glad I wasn't there for it... I drove home from work feeling silly for feeling a little sad knowing I wouldn't see the classic Dango again...
It was such a great car that got us to & from many road trips, float trips, fishing trips, moving to & from college, to & from cosmetology school... and many other adventures...
One of the funniest stories I remember is being away at school and losing the key to the car... and since the key required a special built-in chip I had to have it towed to the nearest Dodge dealership... I cried as they towed it away... $160+ and a brand new key later I was anxious about having to break the news to my mom... so I decided to sit outside in our area named "Packerelly-ville" and found the "lost" key in a cup holder of a lawn chair... typical :)
I hope the car serves its new owner well... Thanks for being a great car Dango, Cheers!
