Well so far today {and it is only a little after noon} I have gotten a lot accomplished & checked off of my to-do list!
I love days like today... the temperatures are cooler {yay!} and it is a little over cast with intermittent rain... I think I only prefer hot, sunny days when boating/water is involved ;)
I started my day by dropping off my favorite pup at the groomer's and that left me about two hours to get some things checked off my list... errands, meetings, etc. :)
I am keeping busy until I leave to attend my first Girls on the Run practice! A friend of mine asked if I would help coach with her this fall, and I was honored! I first heard about GOTR through a blog I read, and the organization sounds so amazing...
Girls on the Run® is a life-changing, experiential learning programs for girls age eight to thirteen years old. The programs combine training for a 3.1 mile running event with self-esteem enhancing, uplifting workouts. The goals of the programs are to encourage positive emotional, social, mental, spiritual and physical development. (taken from the official GOTR website girlsontherun.org)
I am so excited and cannot wait to meet the girls!
I have also been a busy crafty girl today as well... some of my ideas were taken from my addiction and then others I kind of put together myself... here are the finished creations from what I worked on today, but I am going to make individual posts to detail how I made each one! Crafting has always been an interest of mine, but I never followed through with my ideas.. {it all started back during crafty lady nights in high school, those were the best!} I promised myself that on at least one of my days off a week I would implement either one of my craft ideas or home decor projects :) So far I'm ahead of the game! Yay!
I cannot wait for Dan to get home so I can show him everything I made today!
Time to go get ready for Girls on the Run! :)
LOVE your craft projects!
